As more and more details are released, looks like the rumors are partly true. Look for yourselves, I wondered what news we would hear about the new Code Geass Project.
Well, here is the latest news:
The official title is called Code Geass: Shikkoku no Renya, and it is set in the Edo period. The story takes place in the same official Code Geass history as the anime, but in a different era. Plus, it’s a a Manga,
Here are some details:
C.C. is back kinda: A young witch named “Reifuu C.C” will make her appearance (wonder whether it’s the same C.C?)
A mysterious man, with a striking resemblance to Lelouch will appear. Although, details about this character and his intentions have yet to be revealed.
A character named Renya has a mecha arm attachment that blasts out 100s of shurikens.
I feel disappointed. So what now? No more Lelouch? 
I guess we will have to wait and see.

Let’s see
A new Lulu in the Edo era with mechas, maybe is or are a life mobiles armors like the anime “Heroic Age”, because I dunno a robotic mecha with gears and else..
I want to know more about it, for example ,will be a kallen character or a hotter lady like her.

you know what would be interesting? lelouch returns to the world 25 years after his “death” and previous charecters try to catch him for his and C.C. geass powers. this story would be fucking lame, i have have had it with ancient japan. it is too over done and i agree with OptimusMime. ancient japan with mecha arm that shoot 100 shruikens(or wtv) is EPIC FAIL in my opinion and this series does not have ALL HAIL BRITANNIA ALL HAIL LELOUCH in it so it ain’t worth

Yes, and when a fictional culture is able to create fully functional cybernetic limbs, and is set in the same world as a series that happened to have giant robots, how likely is it that giant robots won’t be making an appearance in the show? Personally, I’d much rather be wrong on this, since the intrigue and political maneuvering was what made this series interesting, not the advanced weaponry. The best part about Code Geass was the way the characters worked with what they had and used it in unorthodox ways to succeed against superior forces, not the fact that they rode around in Gundams beating the crap out of each other.

It has the potential to be a marketing
shell, but at the same time it has the potential to be just as 
as the previous enstallments. There’s no way of knowing just from this single preview how good it is going to be, so it’s pointless to make judgements on it. Honestly, we know next to nothing about it, so we should at least wait for further information, though even that is sketchy at best.
In short, everyone (including myself) ought to just shut the hell up, and we’ll find out how good it is when it actually comes out.

The guy who looks like lelouch is Renya, the new main character. If you look closely, he is extending his arm, and you can see part of his mechanical arm(his arm is covering C.C.). Plus, Lelouch has purple eyes, not blue.

@ (all of u guys) until further notice of the actual characters and story line, please refrain from posting idiotic comments on this page :/. UNLESS you have hardcore SOLID information from a TRUSTED and LEGIT sight then there is no reason to be coming up with names for the characters, labeling time periods, and deciding story lines. The more you talk about the more you’re gonna let ur self down once it comes out. The only possibility that could occur is that this will extend like C.G. and become two seasons not just one. (to complete the story line; once again it is one very large posibility at this point.)

Well we just have to wait and see what happens. They made Code Geass once, so we should see a good season. I really do hope that Lelouch comes back though, because he owns. ALL HAIL LELOUCH

ok from looking at the arm covering c.c. that looks pretty mecha to me ad no lelouch wont be returning its ‘prequel’ ppl how ca he return b4 he’s even born this thing does’t sound like it will live up to the original
… but if i had just heard about code geass b4 actually seeing it I wouldve thought meh just another mecha anime, so you never know
the gd news though is that its gona be a manga NOT an anime so it can kinda act like a beta test to see if its any gd b4 becoming anime and if it
s then it wont ruin the series.
