What the hell , The japanese voice sucks , the whole transformation it seemed like some fatass was choking on something, randomly adding some ‘ Sfx sounds to cover it up because the old bitch couldn’t Dub it. Horrible ,

Your quite an ignorant individual, ain’t you! This is the original voice casting which is more expressive and beautiful than the english version. If your not satisfied than go watch some u.s cartoons like family guy. urusai, bakaero. desukara eigo de mite

And i think your the ignorent individual here , can’t even finish your scentance in english , just like when you start argueing with someone Irl and they start rambling in their own langauge so you can’t comment back , thinking they’ ve won the argue , Well sir that makes you an idiot.
And yes it did sound like that bitch was choking half the EP :]

I agree that the original voicing is more interesting to listen to, the english voices arent that great. You guys arguing over this is a fail. Especially you Jwdd. You whine about the other guy not finishing his argument in english, but really all he wanted to do was call you an idiot in japanese. Also, you shouldnt bitch about it simply for the fact that you cant write english for your life.

First of all, the new seiyuu’s are way better than that pussy ass Goku voice in the original Japanese version. He sounded all homo and girly in DBZ. As someone who watches anime everyday, literally (even on holidays/birthday, funerals, etc. for the past thirteen years). Rarely are the English dubs better, but in this case, it’s true. They just sound more authentic, the English cast has the right voices for the right characters. If you got a problem with DBK, go watch DBZ and have fun with those fillers. Seriously, no one needs to hear cry babies whine about pointless shit they’ll never have control over.

I figured, so the nerd learned a word or two in Japanese , he called me an idiot big deal. I still see no reason to attack me directly because of my opinion. Yes the whole transformation it seemed like she was choking on something Yes or No ?!. The bitching started when the most likely random white geek started throwin around japanese insults aye ?

You guys are retarded for arguing over the internet. It’s like the special Olympics, even if you win…you’re still retarded.

If you don’t like the way they sound, don’t watch it…but posting your comment is fine, and you shouldn’t have been flamed for it. It’s half-half, alot of American’s like the way funimation dubbed it, and after listening to it for awhile then going to the original cast voice, it does sound weird, but who cares. Either you are a DBZ fan or not, if you are then it shouldn’t matter.

BTW for you guys who did not know this is getting dubbed officially called “Dragon Ball Z Kai” and it begins around the end of march if I recall correctly. ALL of the original epic cast is BACK with the exclusion of 3 characters which are Gohan, Bulma AND Chiaotzu (lol) Also the epic english dub narrator is also replaced. EVERYONE ELSE is coming back from the original dub. Also for those fucking idiots that don’t know THIS IS A REMAKE. The original “fillerized” DBZ ran 291 episodes THIS ONE IS GOING TO RUN 100 Episodes. So hopefully some of you can do basic math and realize they are trimming 191 episodes worth of fat they spent in the original. Some of you that watched it like I did on Toonami can remember that Goku v Freeza TOOK A LONG DAMN TIME each episode to get to the real meat of it. Anyways, besides this long rant this is hopefully good news to some and even BETTER news for others.

They said at the start it is a remake of dragonball Z, so offcourse it’s the same. they only removed the filling from it. E.G. the genki dama took about 5-6 episodes to complete in dragonball Z, and if it were dragonball Z we’d be around gohan and krillin just arriving on Namek, or a few episodes in.

Anyway, indeed it’s the original casting, so it’s played the way it’s meant to be played, no edits or anything, just straight to the point with no detours. If you think the dubbed version is better, well then wait till it comes out, it also holds the voices from the old dubbed version with some exeptions.

if you’re not convinced, then make your own manga/anime and see how you could do.

yeah i know, but, it would be great if they changed the plot a little, like they did in FMA brotherhood

ummm I guess you don’t read manga whatever… Brotherhood is following the manga… the reason the first was different is because they started making up the story… it’s different
