    It really isnt implied why Itachi did what he did in this fight it couldve been letting sasuke win, or he wasnt at his prime, but madara does tell sasuke he wanted to free him of the cursed seal BUT there is too much implied in this fight and after on the reasons why Itachi lost

    it was a nice fight, took 2-3 episodes to finish? expected abit longer tho hehe..if i am not wrong next episode orichimaru comes out of sasuke to take over itachi’s body ..its why itachi kept fighting sasuke ..sowee for the spoiler ..

    Well, Itachi has somewhat mutilated himself before he met up with Sasuke, just to lose against him. Imho, Killing Itachi is one of Masashi Kishimoto’s biggest mistake. Blah, some people like ir, others don’t. I don’t ^^.

    Itachi didn’t mutilate himself prior, he was terminally ill with disease. Though, Itachi never intended to win, he simply wanted to see everything his brother could do so that he would be the one to stop Mandara.

    god, every time I see this sh*t it irks me to the core. in progression, each episode has contained less and less content. what El Hazard did in 7 episodes, Naruto hasn’t done in almost 400. please let it end soon, it’s getting past the point of ridiculousness and moving into absurdity. but hey, I guess everybody’s gotta make money some how
